The inspiration comes from the lotus flower. In Chinese traditional culture, lotus flowers represent an ultra-mundane spirit of growing in mud without being contaminated. They bring to humans feelings that make us want to rise up. Therefore, the symbol of the lotus flower encompasses the philosophy of power, energy and upward movement. Moreover, the complex appearance of lines and planes are essential elements of aesthetics.

Black is the most powerful and impressive color. Although ink is a liquid, when painted on paper, it gleams and remains sturdy.

Some power in the world is threatening. But other types of power can be placid and reserved, like Chinese Tai Chi, with soft but extremely powerful motions.

We can disregard materials, but not our spirit. By experiencing the spirit of black and white, we can in pureness obtain unlimited power.
